Since that first day in 1889, Big Cove YMCA Camp has had a strong history of providing positive camp experiences to youth from Nova Scotia and beyond. For over a century Big Cove YMCA Camp has been inspiring young people to discover their best, to seek balance in mental, physical, social and spiritual living and to make a positive difference in their communities and the wider world. Today, Big Cove Alumni can be found around the world recounting their Big Cove memories with fellow campers and staff. While Big Cove has evolved over the years, the benefits and opportunities campers receive have remained consistent with the founding traditions. As the oldest residential camp in Canada Big Cove YMCA Camp is steeped in history and tradition. Many families have been attending Big Cove for generations. And many will attend for generations to come. At Big Cove YMCA Camp we truly do provide “an experience that lasts a lifetime.” Big Cove YMCA Camp is on Facebook!
